Who we are ....

Our trustees, elected from our membership are:

Jim Scott

Jim trained as an architect, carried out research for PhD in Community Design, founded Save our World after living abroad for six years and returning to be shocked by how little action governments were taking to avert dangerous climate change.

Vicky Morris-Marsham

Vicky has a degree in languages, has a professional qualification in marketing, is an active sportswoman, has spent six months setting up a conservation project in Nepal, and takes an active part in environmental campaigning. Vicky is currently serving as Secretary to Save Our World.

Joachim Sefzick

Joachim provides IT services for a computer graphics company and has provided extensive voluntary advice and assistance with all Save our World computer activities since joining in 2001. He is a keen photographer and musical connoisseur. Joachim is the newly elected Chairperson of Save Our World.

Polly Virgin

Polly joined Save our World in 2001, initally as a volunteer and now as a trustee.  She is a  nurse in training and has recently become a mother.

Gary Foster

Gary works for an environmental consultancy and has been a champion of green issues for the last ten years.

Our management is undertaken by volunteers: (trustee and founder) Jim Scott and Samantha Ho.

Our Climate Change Action Programmes and Roashows are undertaken by professional actors, under the direction of Sally Howell, joint director of The Green Roadshow, in succession to Duncan Law.

Our Great Turning workshops are co-led by Anna Mcivor and Jim Scott.
